Togetherall partners with Shasta College to expand access to safe mental health support

Shasta College adds safe, anonymous, online peer support to its mental health resources

Shasta College students now have access to Togetherall, a clinically moderated mental health support platform that provides a safe, anonymous online space to connect with peers, share experiences, and access support 24/7/365.

Through the partnership, more than 9,000 students can access safe community of support whenever and wherever they need it, without having to attend an in-person appointment. The service adds another pathway to progress on their mental health journey, complementing Shasta College’s existing resources and helping students find support in a way that works for them.

Following a campus Basic Needs Survey, Shasta College identified the need for more accessible and approachable mental health support options. With nearly all students commuting to campus, the college wanted to provide resources that students could easily access outside traditional counseling services.

Togetherall gives students an opportunity to connect with others, helping them feel less alone, and to take that next step towards support. The platform is particularly valuable for students who may not feel ready to engage in one-to-one therapy but would benefit from anonymous peer connection and a safe space to discuss what they are experiencing.

An important part of Togetherall’s service is its around-the-clock clinical oversight. Licensed clinicians monitor the community, helping maintain a positive and supportive environment while providing a safety net for students who may be at greater risk or need additional support. If a situation escalates, our clinicians use a risk management plan, created with Shasta College, that guides students with more intensive needs to the right resources.

“Not every student who is struggling with their mental health is ready to walk into a counseling office or begin traditional therapy. The Basic Needs Survey showed us that mental health continues to be a significant concern for our students, and we wanted to provide another accessible pathway to support. Togetherall helps us bridge that gap by giving students a safe, anonymous space to connect with others, access support, and take that first step toward caring for their mental health.”

Trinity Brooks, Director of Student Health & Wellness at Shasta College

Togetherall is thrilled to partner with Shasta College to provide students with 24/7 accessible, clinically overseen mental health support this school year and beyond. The offering will sit alongside the college’s existing mental health and wellbeing resources, including short-term counseling services, self-care guides, meditation resources, and the CampusWell newsletter.
