As we move beyond the crisis narrative in collegiate mental health, it’s time to shift our focus toward long-term solutions. Developing a strategic, realistic, and forward-thinking approach is essential to creating sustainable, effective mental health programs that support students.
On April 1, 2025, we gathered for the first of several conversations to explore key concepts for long-term success in collegiate student mental health.
Togetherall is a social impact organization, held accountable by our Guardian Council, with a longstanding commitment to improving access to mental health services for as many as possible through new scalable services that work hand-in-hand with traditional systems of care. We know that long-term and effective strategic planning is a critical aspect of this mission. Change takes time. In addition, we are firm believers in the value of collaboration, among organizations, services, peers, and leaders, when seeking to reach and support students.
More than 750 registrants of our April 1 webinar shared their top barriers in creating a long-term plan and panelists responded by sharing resources, strategies, and a wealth of supporting materials to assist leaders in overcoming these barriers, compiled below.
