Peers are at the heart of Togetherall’s service. We provide members with a safe space to both give and receive support from others with lived experiences while licensed clinicians oversee the platform 24/7. With over 300 higher education institutions already partnered with us, members will find a vibrant and welcoming student community within Togetherall.
We’ve introduced our new Trained Peers program as a way of empowering students to build their resumes and gain access to real-world practice in mental health with a self-paced 10-week certification.
Find out moreTrained Peers will benefit from:
A safe space to get real-world mental health support experience with clinical supervision
An increase in mental health literacy
A credential to boost their resume and gain LinkedIn experience
An opportunity to understand how a safe digital mental health organization operates
The satisfaction of directly supporting others
“Our students learned so much from watching other people’s responses in the community to see what is helpful and realize that it’s not about coming up with all the answers but being empathetic.”
Bruce Herman, Director of Retriever Integrated Health, University of Maryland Baltimore County
Trained Peers will spend roughly one hour per week in order to complete 50 member interactions within the program on the Togetherall platform while being trained and supervised by Togetherall clinicians.
Trained Peers help thousands of others in the Togetherall community by commenting on members’ posts with their own experiences or with empathy.
Students will learn mental-health skills, connect with other Trained Peers, and receive a certificate of achievement upon completion.
Alongside Togetherall’s clinically moderated peer-to-peer community, students will have access to a library of self-guided courses and assessments, articles to help them better understand their feelings, as well as a goal setter and journaling tool to help them track their progress when self-managing their wellbeing.
