Free support now available to all in Ontario, Canada

03 Oct 2018 | By Big White Wall
We’re excited to announce the launch of a new campaign to help promote free access to our online community across all of Ontario, Canada.

The landmark offering means, we can support over 12 million adults suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, low moods, and lifestyle challenges, such as financial worries, caring, those with long term conditions, those quitting smoking and more.

In a province-wide partnership with Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) and the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, the opportunity to provide instant access to 24/7, safe and anonymous online support fulfils the recommendation by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care to embrace digital in order to enhance collaboration, engagement and access to services.

Currently, one in five people in Canada (more than 6.7 million people) experience a mental health problem or illness every year with a cost to the economy of over $50billion. The partnership between BWW and OTN aims to reduce this number by offering support to patients who are waiting for additional treatment and flexibility for those who struggle to attend face to face appointment.
