Dr Julian to offer online counselling to Togetherall’s student members

Universities and Colleges offering Togetherall will be able to benefit from additional counselling capacity

Togetherall has partnered with online therapy platform Dr Julian to enhance and scale the mental health support available to college and university students (aged 18+).

The new partnership will provide eligible students with one-to-one counselling sessions alongside 24/7 access to Togetherall’s offer of clinically moderated, online peer support, self-guided courses, and digital resources.

By working together, Dr Julian and Togetherall hope to offer greater inclusivity, convenience, and routes into getting support for the hundreds of thousands of students  who have Togetherall access, nationwide.

The partnership comes at a time when demand for mental health support is at a high and pressure on Student Services continues to grow while resources remain stretched.

Emotional stabilization is vital to prevent individuals re-entering support services. Combining online counselling alongside Togetherall’s 24/7, clinically moderated, online peer support community, provides your students with an ongoing resource to continue on their path to better wellbeing, leading to stability of wellbeing.

Students at participating colleges and universities experiencing mild or moderate concerns including low mood and stress can be referred to both Dr Julian counselling and gain access to Togetherall’s tools at the same time.

The partnership between Togetherall and Dr Julian builds upon an existing model to offer a holistic online support package to military veterans through the NHS.

This expansion to the partnership to cover universities and colleges aims to:

  • provide another pathway to support that reduces waiting times and eases pressure on student services
  • delivers convenience through flexible appointment times and minimal wait times after referral
  • be inclusive through text-based, voice and video options, and a range of available therapists that may meet specific cultural and language requirements
