Celebrations for 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day

Togetherall staff participate in the ‘Nation's Toast to the Heroes of World War II’.

May 8th, 2020 marked the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, the day on which World War II in Europe ended. To mark the occasion, we invited staff to celebrate and participate virtually with the ‘Nations Toast to the Heroes of World War II’.

The ‘Nations Toast to the Heroes of World War II’ took place exactly 75 years after Churchill announced the end of World War II in Europe. It was a chance for us to raise our glass and thank the heroes of World War II.

Lisa Hancock, our Military Senior Key Account Manager said:

The 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day is an important occasion that should be celebrated. This is also a time of remembrance, reflection and reconciliation for those who sadly lost their lives or loved ones to protect our world and make it a better place. We are so proud to support all those in the UK Military who are serving, Veterans, and their family members. Our true heroes.
