Every young person aged 16–30 in Ireland now has free access to Togetherall
February 11 2026
This expansion builds on the success of our work in higher education and reflects a shared commitment to making mental health support more accessible, inclusive, and available whenever young people need it.
Speaking at the launch, Minister Butler, TD said:
I am very pleased to launch this expansion of the Togetherall mental health support community. As part of an initial phase with the HSE, Togetherall will support more than 2,000 young people across Ireland this year, creating an inclusive digital community that complements existing mental health services. I want young people to have access to the support and community that can help them thrive and I believe Togetherall will be an important source of that support.
Proven Impact in Ireland
Since 2022, the HSE has supported Togetherall’s delivery across 13 higher education institutions in Ireland.
- 87% of Irish students report that Togetherall was helpful or very helpful to their mental health.
- 83% of students using Togetherall are not accessing on-campus supports.
- 65% of platform activity takes place outside normal service hours.
These findings highlight the importance of accessible, out-of-hours, and stigma-free support, particularly for young people who may not engage with traditional services.
Expanding Access, Together
This national rollout complements existing mental health services and strengthens early access to support across Ireland. By providing a safe, clinically moderated space available 24/7, Togetherall ensures young people can connect, share, and seek support at the moment they need it.
Our CEO, Matthew McEvoy, shared:
We’re proud to expand Togetherall’s digital peer-to-peer mental health support across Ireland, especially for young people who would welcome a safe, low-barrier space to connect and support one another. Young people aged 16–30 in Ireland can now access 24/7 support, including those who are not likely to seek or use traditional mental health methods. This expansion is about empowering individuals to take that next step toward wellbeing, on their own terms and in their own time, while knowing they’re never alone in what they’re going through.
The Right Support, at the Right Time
Togetherall is designed to provide the right level of support, on the right topics, at the right time.
With this expansion, every young person aged 16–30 in Ireland now has access to immediate, inclusive digital mental health support, helping ensure no one has to navigate their mental health alone.
If you are aged 16–30 and living in Ireland, you can join the Togetherall community today. Access is free, anonymous, and available 24/7 – Find out more at togetherall.com/ireland
